The Maze Eternal

Good Evening All!!

Tonight's manicure kinda just happened without me really thinking about it!! I just grabbed a couple of nail polishes nearby, my striping brush and just winged it :) Surprisingly it turned out pretty good!

I painted most of my nails with Color Club 'Eternal Beauty' (an amazing polish) and OPI 'Upfront & Personal'on my ring finger. At least I think it's 'Upfront & Personal', Mum brought it back from a trip to China and it didn't have a label. After a bit of research, this was the closest colour to my bottle!

I used OPI 'My Vampire Is Buff' and my striping brush to paint a maze-like pattern on all my nails except the accent nail. It was actually easier to paint straight lines than I'd thought! Just patience and a steady hand :) 'My Vampire Is Buff' is such a lovely opaque polish that I only had to go over the lines a couple of times. Woop!
On my accent nail, I used Barry M 'Amethyst', a lovely squ…

An Enchanted Princess

A Good Evening To You All!!

I am SO loving today's manicure (what a surprise, tee hee)! I had an image of  lovely and dainty but sparkly nail art and it came out just how I imagined! Love it when that happens :)

Awww it's so girly and delicate!! I started with Rimmel 'Euphoria' on most of my nails except for my ring finger which is Barry M 'Princess'. I've been totally bowled over by Barry M's Royalcollection, each one is just divine. I. Must. Have. Them. All!!!

On my pointer finger, I painted a simple gradient over 'Euphoria' with 'Princess'. I made sure to build it up using thin layers as texture polishes like this can get pretty bulky.
On the rest of my nails, I decided to do a simple leafy branch design to keep with the dainty feel of the whole manicure. Using my faithful striping brush and Essie 'Cocktail Bling', I painted on the branches/tendrils. I repeated the process with Color Club 'Eternal Beauty' to add some…

Jewels Of Autumn

Hello There!

Firstly, sorry about the humongous gap between posts! Unfortunately a few things (good and bad!) interfered with my nail art and blogging- boooooo! But most of it is done and dusted now so I'm back to prettying up my finger tips!! YAY!

Today's manicure is pretty simple but I love it anyway :) This time of year lends itself so well to those lovely rich, jewel-like colours that look so stunning on nails! Take a looksie;

I chose highly pigmented nail polishes to emphasise their jewel properties (yes, that's a thing now!). From my pinkie through to my thumb, I used; Zoya 'Zuza', China Glaze 'Red-y & Willing', Zoya 'Midori', OPI 'Wooden Shoe Like To Know?' and a coral-orangey Colour Works polish with no name. Then I used a couple of coats of Barry M 'Topcoat'for extra shininess!

At this point, it felt unfinished so using a teeny weeny dotting tool and OPI 'My Vampire Is Buff', I decided to add some small polka dot…
